REVIEW – I’m betting that if you are a guy/dad like me, the wallet you have been using for the last 10 years was probably a gift from a significant other or family member. The Trayvax Venture Billfold is a sleek modern wallet that may convince you to treat yourself to a new wallet. Let’s take a closer look.
The Trayvax Venture Billfold is a low profile bi-fold style wallet that can carry up to 12 cards and 20 bills in an aluminum and leather package that adds some style to the traditional wallet.
The Trayvax Venture Billfold is constructed from a single piece of premium 30z Horween leather hand stitched with 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components. It has a 6-7 card main pocket that allows quick access with a cut-out thumb groove. The triple-plated neodymium magnets keep the wallet closed but allow easy opening when wanted. Once open you will find a single card slot on the aluminum-backed side and a 1-3 card internal card slot on the other side. The cash storage is spacious enough for up to 20 bills comfortably. You can arrange them long wise but I preferred to fold the bills in order to separate large and small bills and I found this allowed quick access to my cash from the top without having to open the wallet.
I really like this wallet. The small magnets keep the wallet clasped but still allow easy opening. Even loaded with cards and bills the Trayvax Venture Billfold maintains a slim profile and is lightweight but solidly constructed. I also really appreciate that it is handmade in the US about 150 miles from where I live in Washington so overall I would highly recommend the Trayvax Venture Billfold as a stylish upgrade to the traditional wallet.
